Cherishing the Church

There are few times in a man’s life when he hears a sermon where there are no wasted words.  This sermon by Joel Beeke, “Cherishing the Church,” is one of them.  It is the best message I have ever heard on the church.  It was first preached by Beeke at the Calvin 500 Conference in Geneva earlier this summer.  Dr. Lawson also preached there and said that after hearing this sermon he immediately asked Beeke to preach it at this conference.  As Dr. Lawson introduced it, he literally swallowed his emotions. Beeke’s two other Sunday messages are also worth a listen (available on Christ Fellowship web site).
